The Torah of Moses was given by God to the chosen people of Israel for a very simple reason. The children of Israel were chosen by God to become His priests on earth. It is their duty and responsibility to teach the Torah to all.

The Torah is for all of us here on earth.

The holy nation of Israel is supposed to bring the teachings of God in the Torah to all nations on earth. The Holy Bible refers to the people on earth that do not keep the Law as wicked or lawless.

When you do not keep the Torah of Moses you become a dog or an uncircumcised Gentile in the eyes of G-d. People become wicked before G-d once they rebel against the Law of Moses openly. The word ‘saints’ applies only to the Jewish people who are keeping the Torah of Moses faithfully.

So, contrary to the foolish belief of the Christian people we are all subject to the Law of Moses. The Christian people who believe they are not under the Law are the children of Satan the Devil. Jesus teaches us that in some of His parables written in the gospel.

In the Holy Bible, the word ‘torah’ is often translated to the English word ‘law.’ The law refers to the entire body of the law or the legislation written in the Pentateuch or the Torah of Moses. For instance, Leviticus 6:9 teaches us, “This is the law (torah) of the burnt offering” (KJV). Deuteronomy 4:44 discloses to us, “This is the Torah which Moshe placed before the people of Isra’el” (CJB). There are so many references to the Torah of Moses in the entire Holy Bible for the written word of God is based entirely on this law (Joshua 1:7, Ezra 3:2; 7:6, Malachi (3:22) 4:4, Matthew 5:17-19, 1 John 3:4).

According to Jewish tradition, the Torah not only existed before the children of Israel came to Mt. Sinai; it has been in existence prior to the creation of the universe. The book of Genesis shows us that Abraham had indeed kept the Torah, which is the reason Paul had written in his letter that the Torah was repeated only to the children of Israel on Exodus time for they had forgotten it.

The Torah of Moses refers to the five books written by Moses (Moshe Rabbeinu). Jewish traditions tell us that there are at least 613 commandments written in the Pentateuch. Of the 613 mitzvot within the Torah there are commandments that contain many laws and ordinances to follow and observe. Apparently, we have more than 613 laws in the Torah that guide and help us on how we may become righteous in the eyes of God. A nation on earth that observed the Torah of Moses faithfully becomes holy, pure and virgin before God. God has given the Torah to the people of Israel so they can impart the teachings of God to all the people and nations on earth.

The 613 commandments of God were given by God to Moses and the people of Israel. The Torah guides the people of Israel on how their nation and their land would become holy in the eyes of God. There is no person living on earth that can keep all of the 613 commandments of God by himself alone. When a person says that he is keeping the Law of Moses, with all its statutes, ordinances and judgments, it means he or she is following all of the commandments of God in the Torah that has been designed especially for him or her.

The Torah is the heavenly-made constitution of the holy nation of Israel. We know that the constitution of every nation here on earth embodies many laws or legislations that are made for all kinds of people living in the land. There are laws for the President of the nation, and there are laws also for all the rest of the people, as an individual and as a group. Laws are being made and enacted in a land so that peace and order can be maintained and controlled. Before God had brought the people of Israel in the Promised Land God had given them a set of laws and instructions to follow.

When the people of Israel rebelled against the Law of God (Torah of Moses), God expelled them all out of the land of Israel in accordance to what was written in the Torah. But there are also written instructions in the Torah on how the descendants of the rebellious people of Israel can return again to their own land, their place in the ‘wilderness.’ The Jewish people throughout the years that they have spent in the Diaspora have kept and observed the Law of Moses---with the spirit of the law “dino d’malkuto dino” (the law of the land is our law). As prophesied, God had made the Jewish people returned to their homeland located at the navel of the earth.

It is the Torah of Moses that made it possible for the Jewish people to live and prosper in the land of Israel. God had written an instruction and guidance in the Torah of Moses that the Gentile people must also observe and keep the Law of Moses. The writings of the prophets also show us that the Gentile people will also obey the Law of Moses in the coming millennial rule of the Promised Messiah of Israel on earth.

In sharp contrast to the teaching of many spiritual leaders on earth, the Torah is not given by God exclusively for the chosen people of Israel. The Law of Moses is the teachings of God that are designed to be followed by all the inhabitants on earth. The Law of Moses teaches us that the Gentiles can also become part of the Holy Nation of Israel if only they will keep and observe as well all of the commandments and laws that God had given to us through Moses the prophet.

For this community there will be the same law for you as for the foreigner living with you; this is a permanent regulation through all your generations; the foreigner is to be treated the same way before Adonai as yourselves” (Numbers 15:15, CJB).

The same Torah and standard of judgment will apply to both you and the foreigner living with you’(Numbers 15:16, CJB).

God had not really commanded the Gentile people to keep and follow only the seven Noahide laws. God had not given a different and conflicting law to the Gentiles like what the Jewish rabbis and Christian leaders are claiming today. The Law of Moses is for all of the people on Earth. It is the only way for all of us here on earth to have a lasting peace and happiness. When Jesus returns to Eretz Yisrael (land of Israel) the Law of Moses will be enforced with a rod of iron on all of us on earth (Revelation 19:15). God repeatedly teaches us in the Pentateuch that there is only ONE LAW for both the people of Israel and the Gentile people.

“One LAW (Torah) shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you” (Exodus 12:49, KJV).

It is also written in the book of Leviticus, “Ye shall have one manner of LAW (mishpat), as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the Lord your God” (Leviticus 24:22, KJV).

The entire body of the Torah of Moses is actually composed of many laws, ordinances, judgments, statutes and testimonies. Furthermore the true teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible also support and strengthen the Law of Moses. Jesus Christ had expounded and taught the Law of Moses very well like what the Orthodox Jewish rabbis are doing today. The people on earth that would wholeheartedly believe and follow Jesus must learn how to keep the Torah properly. Jesus had taught almost everything that the Jewish rabbis (teachers) of the Law are presently teaching in the most legal manner, with no loopholes included. And if there is something Jesus had not distinctly taught, He knows we would learn them from our Jewish ‘fathers’ (the rabbis).

THE NEW TESTAMENT TEACHINGS

During New Testament times, the true Church of God headquartered in the holy city of Jerusalem likewise followed the Torah of Moses. They taught also the Law to the gentiles who converted into the faith and religion of Yeshua HaMashiach. The Gentile converts were not forced to observe quickly those 612 plus commandments written in the Torah. They were initially instructed to follow what many religious people have erroneously interpreted as the four commandments of God suitable for non-Jewish people. These four commandments are sometimes referred as the four fences in Judaism. Those commandments make our body ritually clean and pure. The kosher Jews would not be defiled by the Gentiles that would keep them and they would be well accepted in the Jewish community instead of being shunned completely.

Therefore my judgment is that we should not trouble those of the Gentiles who turn to God, but should write to them to ABSTAIN from 1 the pollution of idols and 2 unchastity (fornication in KJV) and from 3 what is strangled and 4 from blood” (Acts 15:19-20, RSV).

The TEN COMMANDMENTS that God had uttered to the people of Israel on Mt. Sinai embody all of the 613 plus commandments in the Law of God. Similarly, the FOUR COMMANDMENTS that was given to the Gentile converts contained approximately 65 commandments of God that are part the Torah of Moses (1. See Idolatry section in the Law, 2. See Incest and Other Forbidden Relationship section, 1Cor. 6:9, 13, 16, 18; Deut. 24:1-4; Deut. 22:13-21 3. See Deuteronomy 14:21 4. See Dietary Laws section, Lev. 7:26-27). But the Gentiles were not admonished to follow and observe only those 65 mitzvot (commandments) of God. Like all of the baalei teshuvah (Jewish people who have done repentance) and proselytes of Judaism, the disciples and followers of Yeshua were also expected to learn and observe each of the 612 commandments in the Law of Moses. Jesus the Promised Messiah even taught His disciples and the Jewish people to follow the guidance and teachings of the Jewish rabbis and elders, and His twelve apostles for their enlightenment on most of the Torah commandments.

Apparently, the Gentiles who converted to the religion of Judaism through the disciples and apostles of Yeshua were required to keep the Sabbath Days by worshiping in the Jewish synagogues located in their respective places and cities. The New Testament Church of God was only one of the sects of Judaism during the first century CE and its members worshiped God like most of the Torah observant Jews. That is the main reason why we find this thing written in Acts 15:21, For from early generations (the Law of) Moses has had in every city those who preach him, for he (the 5 book of Moses) is read every Sabbath in the synagogues (Acts 15:21, RSV). On every Sabbath day the Gentiles who were not familiar with the Law of God shall gradually learn what the other commandments, statutes, ordinances and judgments of God that they must also observe. The gentile converts were supposed to learn Jewish traditions empirically from the Jewish people that were zealously keeping the Torah of Moses (Acts 21:20).

Acts 13:13-15 undoubtedly bears witness to this fact. Now Paul and his company…on the Sabbath day they went into the synagogue and sat down. After the reading of the law (of Moses) and the (writings of) the prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, “… Brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people say it” (RSV). The Law of Moses is being read customarily in the Jewish synagogues all over the world since ancient times.

Furthermore, it is also written, Ye shall have ONE LAW for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them. But the soul that doeth aught presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Because he hath despised the word of the Lord, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him(Numbers 15:29-31, KJV).

There are far too many Jewish rabbis today who are teaching the Jewish people to keep the Law of Moses in almost the same way that Jesus had done. Rabbinical Judaism discourages the Jewish people from believing in Jesus their Promised Messiah. The rationale behind this man-made tradition is simple. Most of the Jews that believe in Jesus were taught to forsake the Law of Moses and Jewish traditions.

The Christian people and even the Messianic Jews have a terrible concept of the biblical Law of God. The version of the Law that they keep are entirely of their own creation and imagination. People imagine they could keep the Law of God written in the five books of Moses without any guidance from the Jewish Orthodox rabbis or the Talmud. In their dull attempt to keep and live within the framework of the Torah, they manage only to live in the way of the lost House of Israel during the reign of King Jeroboam the First.

They are living in pure lawlessness. They are in rebellion against God.

The Holy Bible shows us what become of the rebellious people of Israel. God had rejected them and expelled them all from the land of Israel. This is the same fate waiting for the religious people on earth who are proudly saying they are no longer under the Law of Moses. They would not be to enter in the Kingdom of God that Jesus will establish in Israel.

True repentance comes only to the people that study and do the commandments of God in the Torah. No one can do an act of complete repentance (teshuvah) before the eyes of God with no understanding of the Law of Moses. It is required in the Jewish Holy Bible that the believers in Yeshua HaMashiach or a converts in Judaism should repent first of all sins prior to baptism (Acts 2:38) for without the knowledge of the Torah of Moshe, repentance is futile and in vain.

Our faith in God and His son Jesus Christ has power when we do what God expects us to do not what our human understanding is telling us to do and observe. We would not even know the truth from the teaching of the Jewish rabbis if we are not knowledgeable of the true teachings of God within the Torah. We toil in the study of the Torah so no one can deceive us into following erroneous interpretation of the written Law of Moses (Torah she-bi-khetav) bereft of the power and inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God.

We might not be able to tell by simply looking who among the believers have the true Holy Spirit of God. But when we are familiar and knowledgeable of the Law of Moses we certainly could discern and perceive the saints and the true believers in the way they live and worship God.

It is worth noting the fact that the Orthodox Jews have also change the law to suit them. There are many Jewish writers that said you will not find any of them following the Torah's injunction to forgive all loans every seven years, or to stone a rebellious child. But the changes that were made has internal coherence and consistent with the written Torah.

Many of the original references and scriptures for the mitzvot of God in the Torah of Maimonides were made using the Jewish Tanakh (Old Testament) numbering system and written. Plenty of these references and biblical supports are erroneous. They have been changed, corrected and updated into the English translation of the Holy Bible for easy reference so all the people on earth would understand quickly each of the commandments of God.

You can read and study the commandments of God written in the Torah of Moses below. Empirically speaking, there is a curse that comes to anyone who would revise and study the list of commandments below introduced first by Maimonides if he or she would not keep and get to know all of them. You will know why 'bad things happen to good people.'

But think of all the blessings that come to us who continue keeping the mitzvot of Adonai in the Torah.

There is only one way you Gentiles can be grafted into the holy nation of Israel. Keep the Torah first and study the commandments laboriously throughout your entire life.
