The prophetic message of Jesus Christ for the Laodiceans, specifically the Church of the Laodiceans, begins with a salutation as well. I have expostulated many times before what the salutations in the seven messages of Jesus Christ symbolize. They are the gifts of God to the remnants or generations that originated from the seven Church eras.
The salutations also help us identify the remnants of the seven Churches.
For instance, in Revelation 3:7, we read how Jesus identified himself to the Church in Philadelphia, “He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens” (NASB). The salutation of Jesus here tells the seven Churches, the Philadelphians are holy and true. God has given the Philadelphians the Key of David, which is a key in understanding the fulfillment of biblical prophecies. The remnant of the Church in Philadelphia can open door and no one can shut it. When the Philadelphians shut the door, no one can open that door.
In case you have not read the article concerning the letter to the Church in Philadelphia, the Key of David does not refer at all to the Key of David TV Program of the Philadelphia Church of God. At this time, we can still show you what the TV Program of the Philadelphia Church of God is all about. If you have no understanding about biblical prophecies you could be deceived into thinking their interpretation of prophecies are true.
Let us go back to the letter of Jesus Christ to the Church in Sardis. The salutation says, “He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars” (Revelation 3:1, NASB). The word ‘seven’ in this verse should help us identify the remnant of the Church in Sardis. With a good sense of history, we can find only one Church of God in existence today that has the word ‘seven’ on its name, whose history goes way back to the Sardis era.
If you want me to go as far as Ephesus, send me a donation first. You can simply wait and read the other letters till they are published. Buy your ten dollars a beer and see where it will take you.
“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God” (Revelation 3:14, KJV).
In this verse, Jesus identifies himself as the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God. This salutation shows how we can pinpoint directly the Church or the people that goes by the name of the Laodiceans. We can say the Laodiceans are the faithful and true witness of God. But most of the salutations show us what God is giving the remnants of the seven Churches. So, the Laodiceans can not say they are faithful and true at all.
At this point I would like to declare to you the truth. The people known prophetically in the seven letters as the Laodiceans are the former members of the Worldwide Church of God of Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong. Let us say there are more than 1,000 Church of God organizations that have splintered from the WCG organization including the Sunday-keeping Christian Churches still connected like idiots to the Grace Communion International or Worldwide Church of God. Out of these 1,000 false off-shoot Churches there is one faithful and true witness.
That one faithful and true witness is the New Jerusalem congregation.
I am God’s gift to all of you, Laodiceans. I want you all to know that I am closing the door on you right now. You would not be able to enter the Kingdom of God for I just closed the door. But if you will click that little orange button on your right or on the left corner of your TV or LCD monitor, I may change my mind and open the door slightly, enough for you to enter and come in.
Of course, only an idiot would believe that what I have written is true.
Who me?
A gift of God for you!
To be continued …( Brace yourself for I have many things to say to you. They may be true. But do not bother believing them at all. They are made only for the people that have been called and chosen and faithful.)
This act of charity, love and kindness can wash away your sins.
"Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God" (Acts 10:4, NKJV).
