In Revelation 2 and 3, Jesus had sent seven letters to the seven Churches in Asia Minor. It is not that these seven letters are made for a literal seven churches at that time that the Book of Revelation was written by John the Beloved. The little book, being coded, reveals through the seven letters the seven generations of the Church that would try to do the commission of our Lord Jesus the Christ. There are seven Churches or seven Church organizations that had existed since the outpouring of the power of the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem on 30 CE (AD) upon the twelve apostles.
The seven letters for the seven Churches initially helps the members of the Church of God to learn about the seven Church eras. One after the other, the seven Churches had done their work in the name of Jesus from 30 to 2003 CE. We thought at first that there would only be two Churches of God, namely, Philadelphians and Laodiceans, which would be in existence in this end of time.
But in the year 2010, I have been given more understanding about the book of Revelation. God has shown me that there are, in fact, seven remnants of the seven Churches in existence today, not two or three. Besides that the Church of Thyatira has two remnants for it is written, “and the last to be more than the first” (Revelation 2:19) meaning Thyatira has two remnant-groups doing the work of God in this end of time. The last group is doing a more powerful work than the first group. Both of them fall under the Thyatira generation.
Each of the seven Churches had generated a remnant after their era had ended and those seven remnants still exist today.
The seven letters written on Revelation 2 and 3 are being addressed by our God and our Lord Jesus Christ to the seven generations or the seven remnants of the seven Churches.
If you are a believer in Jesus the Promised Messiah of Israel, what generation among the seven Churches do you belong to?
Are you a Philadelphian or a Laodicean?
