Temple of God

The Temple of God in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans on 70 CE. This was the second time that the House of God had been destroyed. It was King Solomon who built the first Temple of God that King Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed.

The second Temple was known as Herod’s Temple in view of the fact that King Herod had beautified the second Temple that Zerubbabel had built after the Jewish people had returned from Babylon.

The Jewish people have been living in captivity since the destruction of the second Temple of God in Jerusalem. The absence of the Temple of God in Jerusalem reflects the state of captivity that the Jewish people have found themselves today in their own land. It is hard to believe that the Jewish people are still not free today as a people in their own land. But that is what the Zionist leaders of Israel have transformed their own people in Israel.

Biblical prophecy speaks of a man that God has appointed as the Savior of the Jewish people. He is popularly known as the Promised Messiah of God. Prophecy states the Messiah and anointed King of Israel shall become the light and hope of the Gentile people. But that is simply the extent of the prophecy about the Messiah when it comes to the Gentile people.

When the Messiah comes, He will bring an end to the Zionist government of Israel quickly. More likely, the Zionist and Godless government of Israel shall cease to function on account of the war that the Gentile nations on earth would bring in Israel in this end of time. The Temple of God will be built again in Jerusalem the coming days ahead. Otherwise the Promised Messiah of God shall not return in the land.

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years’ (Malachi 3:1-4, KJV).

Verse 1 foretells the sudden appearance of our Lord Messiah in the Temple of God. Apparently the Temple of God shall be built again. There is someone who will come first before the Lord shall return. That man shall prepare the return of Jesus Christ in the Land of Israel.

Verse 4 implicitly tells us that animal sacrifices shall be presented and offered again before God in His Temple. Twice we have been told here of the existence of the Temple of God in Jerusalem. Definitely the Temple of God will stand again on Mt. Moriah.

1290 Days in Prophecy

The Book of Daniel presents a prophetic timeframe concerning the Temple that many religious people could not interpret properly. The Christian people believe the prophecy about 1290 days would occur in this end of time once the antichrist appears and make a treaty with the Jewish people so they can build the Temple of God in Jerusalem.

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days” (Daniel 12:10-12, KJV).

The word ‘wicked’ in the prophecy above refers to all the people on earth that are not keeping all the commandments of God in the Torah of Moses. The Christian people are all wicked for they are not keeping the Torah of Moses. They do not even keep the seventh-day Sabbath holy in the eyes of God. They thought the sacrifice of Jesus would be able to wash away all of their sins and that is sheer stupidity.

When it comes to the forgiveness of sin, a Jew that does not believe in Jesus can wash away all his sins by simply presenting an offering before God in the Temple. Whereas a Gentile believers would not become white at all in the eyes of God, even if he continue day after day saying ‘I am sorry’ to God in the name of Jesus.

The Temple of God has power to wash away our sins that it necessitates its destruction so the Jews that continue denying and rejecting their Promised Messiah would be punished. But the love of God to His wife—Israel—remains and the time has now come for the husband to claim His wife and destroy all of the enemies of the Jewish people.

“"Comfort, yes, comfort My people!" Says your God. "Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the Lord's hand Double for all her sins." The voice of one crying in the wilderness: "Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God … for the mouth of the Lord has spoken”” (Isa 40:1-5, NKJV).

The God of Israel is coming back home. The time to comfort the Jewish people in Israel is about to happen. God has promised to forgive their sins and for that to happen the Temple of God must be built again.

Concerning the prophecy of Daniel about 1290 days, which is equivalent to 1290 years. History shows us that during the reign of Umayyad dynasty, Caliph Abd Al Malik permitted the Jewish people in Jerusalem to build a House of Prayer atop Mt. Moriah. It was built precisely on the same spot where the Holy of Holies was located during Temple times. That House of Prayer is known today as the Dome of the Rock. And starting in 691 CE, the Jewish people had offered their ‘daily’ prayer in the Temple Mount twice a day—morning and afternoon service.

The daily had already been offered by the Jewish people in house atop the Temple Mount, which was more like a synagogue instead of a Temple of God. The prophecy concerning the continual daily had already been fulfilled on 691 CE. Even though the continual in the Holy Place had already been stopped there, it continues still today in many cities all over the world where there is a Jewish community.

When Caliph Abd El-Wahd, the son of Califh Abd El Malik, came to power in the Umayyad Dynasty, he started construction of the silver dome Al-Aqsa Mosque on 711 CE. When it was finished on 715 CE, the Jewish people were prohibited by the Islamic Muslims from worshiping further in the Temple Mount. Al Aqsa Mosque is the prophesied Abomination of Desolation in the book of Daniel and the abominable worship of the Islamic Arabs was set up on 715 CE.

‘Virtually that is how the prophecy in Daniel 12:11 found its final fulfillment that the daily shall be taken away and the abomination of desolation set up in its place in the holy place. As the prophecy of Daniel explicitly indicated, the abomination of desolation would replace the true worship of God in the holy place, and that is exactly what happened’ (quoted from the article ‘The Abomination of Desolation and the Daily Sacrifice’ by Yeshua Ed, December 22, 2005).

1290 years afterward brought us to the year 2005, at which time God has revealed to the New Jerusalem congregation the truth about 1290 days in prophecy written in the book of Daniel. On that same year, the sun struck the earth with unscheduled CMEs (coronal mass ejections), ripping apart the face of the earth in the Ethiopian continent. The next year (2006), the prophecies written in Revelation 6, the four horsemen and the breaking of the fifth and sixth seals, started to unravel. We saw in the year 2006, the beginning of the Christian’s Ten-Year Tribulation as prophesied on Revelation 2:10.

But the question remains.

When does God plan to destroy and remove from the Temple Mount the prophesied ‘abomination of desolation’ known as the Al Aqsa Mosque?

We want our Temple back on Mt. Moriah now.

Are seven years enough?

If we add seven years to the year 2005, we will come to the year 2012. Seven years have already passed in the year 2012 since 1290 years have elapsed from the time that the abomination of desolation has been set up in the Holy Place. The removal of the ‘daily’ prayer from the Temple Mount is a punishment by God to the Jewish people for not building a Temple of God when the righteous Muslim Caliph Abd Al Malik had shown mercy on them. In the same way God is punishing the Jewish people in Israel today for not building a Temple for him in 1967 or in 1948 when they have gained possession of the land again.

The prophecy states that from that year (715 CE) that the abomination of desolation was set up, there would be 1290 years before the time of trouble shall start (2005-2006). Daniel 12 is not telling us when the abomination of desolation shall be removed. But when the time of trouble shall begin, at which time Michael the archangel shall stand to protect the people that are written in the book of life.

In the Holy Bible we refer to that time of trouble as the seven-year Great Tribulation or the Ten-Year Tribulation that I stated earlier. So take a note what are written in Daniel 12:1-5.

"At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.  Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever. "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank” (Daniel 12:1-5, NKJV)

Do you notice the ‘two others’ on verse 5?

They said those two others are the ‘two witnesses’ in Revelation 11. They should be starting their ministry and work in this year of 2011. But we are not yet witnessing their appearance at this time (as of this writing).

Can we use the Key of David code here in Daniel 12?

Everything written in Daniel 12 shall unravel next year—2012. Maybe the ‘two witnesses’ shall come out of their closet and show the uncircumcised Gentile believers the power of the Jewish people. Perhaps next year, Islam would be removed completely from the Holy Place.

Biblical prophecy here in Daniel 12 has brought the Two Witnesses to our attention to show us their connection to the Temple Mount and the Temple of God itself.

Daniel 12:11 explicitly relates to us when the prophesied ‘time of trouble’ shall start. It already started in the year 2005 or is it in the year 2006. The Islamic Muslims have started killing Christians openly in the year 2006. But of course, the Islamic Muslims have been slaying the Christian people for hundreds of years now.

For what it’s worth, the prophecies written on Daniel 12 concern more the Jewish people and the 1335 days in prophecy had brought blessings only upon the brethren of Jesus Christ. But we have already covered the prophecies concerning the Temple Mount on Daniel 12.

The Temple Plan

God has given us a technical plan about the Temple of God that we will build very soon. The plan about the building of the Temple is written on Ezekiel 40-47, barely eight consecutive chapters.

“In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither. In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.  And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel” (Ezekiel 40:1-4, KJV).
